After the LSEC 307 course I learned many new skills
and improved a lot of others. The courses take many of the other skills learned
in the previous communication courses and take them to a different level and
also introduce you to many new skills as well. For example I didn’t know about
the cover letters how influential they are alongside the C.V.The course also
pushes the research skills and presentation skills in a business’s direction
rather than the usual academic direction. The whole idea of the course is
Appling the academic skills in the business world.
Meetings, Research and presentations are huge part
of the administration jobs so most of the skills relating to them are very
important and will be used in a daily bases. I think the wide range of skills I
learned in the course will be essential in any field of work I chose and will
help me perform and excel at my job.
There are many challenges the faces graduates in the
job market. Like the difficulty to get the job wanted because of the other
people after the same job so the challenge is in setting yourself apart from
everyone else and finding the best way to present the skills you have.
I think that the LESC
307 course is the most important communication course because it teaches you
how to use and apply all the skills you learned before in a practical realistic
manner. I enjoyed the course very much and appreciate all of what I learned.
