meeting Reflective report



We did our meeting activate last Sunday at 10:30 and we learned a lot about meeting and the meetings procedures and proper process. First we selected our topic which was improving the college life for student because it was relatable to us as students. And we picked the time and place of the meeting. Mohamed our chair started the meeting we introductions to the topic and agenda. We learned that meetings need to a have a clear goal and organized agenda that would help us achieve our goal. After that malek and faraj talked about the problems that student have and they disagreed on some points. But it’s also important for the chair to see all the aspects of the points. I was the minute’s taker; the minute’s taker part is to document the meeting for future reference. We had a really good meeting and I felt that we learned a lot about meeting and the proper proceedings.

1              Welcome, introduction
2              Improving the studying environment and process for students
·         Faraj raised the issue of exams being  stressful for student  
·         Malek suggested to give student one exam per week
·         Mohamed decided to contact management to find a proper solution
·         Action item: Faraj should contact the management about organizing the exams 
·         Also the possibility of elective courses have been discussed 
3              Improving the facilities on campus
·         the lack of healthy food in the cafeteria was pointed by faraj
·         Malek argued that the student needs fast food to save time
·         Mohamad decided  to see what the student prefer   
·         Action item: Malek observe and report about the food in the cafeteria
·         Action item: Rashed and Malek should survey about the library 
4          Recommendations – discussion points
·         Report should be presented to Academic Services
·         All must prepare to discuss more about the extra activities in the college 



5            Date of next meeting: to be decided before Monday 12 Nov





6          Conclusion:
·               The studying process has been reviewed and possible improvements have been suggested and some will be taken into consideration and some will be presented to the management
·               The college facilities have been discussed and some issued have been raised about the cafeteria, car parking and library.
·               No improvements have been suggested for the college extra activities but it should be discussed further in future meeting
